King County is investing $2.75 million in capital projects that will help expand the region's food assistance infrastructure.
The funding supports renovations and improvements at various food bank locations across the county.
One recipient, El Centro de la Raza, will receive $300,000 to complete the renovation of a new food bank marketplace in its historic building.
