EdgeConneX, a data center provider, has advanced its project with the first building of a planned four-building campus scheduled for completion in June. The 578,000-square-foot facility, known as AUS02, represents a $440 million investment on a site near FM 535 and Wolf Lane in Cedar Creek.
Project Details
County records and filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicate the two-story structure will provide up to 96 megawatts of capacity. Construction began in August of the prior year, positioning the company for operational readiness this month.
The broader campus plans encompass additional buildings over time, expanding the overall footprint significantly. EdgeConneX maintains its corporate website at edgeconnex.com, along with dedicated sections for partners and careers where applicable.
Company Impact
This milestone supports EdgeConneX’s expansion in the region through its established infrastructure development efforts. The project aligns with the company’s focus on purpose-built facilities for cloud and AI needs.
Further filings from June show additional permit activity for related structures on acquired land parcels.12
