The facility will generate 125 new jobs with an average annual wage of $102,168. This exceeds the county average and supports a potential annual payroll impact exceeding $12.7 million.[1] Mayor Richard Franks stated, “This project is another example of Gastonia’s continued momentum in attracting advanced manufacturing and high-quality jobs.”[1]
Separately, construction continues on a 462,000-square-foot distribution building at 2550 Jenkins Dairy Road. Developers The Davis Companies and Intersect Development Group are advancing the Class-A cross-dock facility, with concrete work underway as of August.[2] The project targets completion in January 2027 and features specifications suited for logistics and manufacturing tenants.[2]
